CULTIVATING COMMUNITY
AND CREATIVITY
Here at Ajax Anvil Co. my goal is to work with brands and businesses to help bring their vision to life. I fully believe that the best way to make yourself stand out is to dig deep and find the cross section of what makes you and your business unique.
Everyone wants to start a business for something they are passionate about, but how can we pull inspiration from seemingly unrelated places, and make connections that people might not see, in order to create a much deeper and authentic experience that gives people more ways to relate and connect.
In a world where so much of our life is spent behind a screen, it is more important than ever to create spaces that reinvigorate and inspire people to connect with like-minded people and create spaces that cultivate community.

MURALS
When it comes to placemaking and cultivating memorable spaces, there are endless possibilities when it comes to the right creative vision and some paint. By combining both artistry and business goals we are able to bring life to your space that is guaranteed to not only inspire, but generate long-lasting returns for your business.
MERCH & MORE
I spent the early years of my career in the apparel industry which gave me production knowledge, and incredible versatility in my design skills. With that experience I have been able to apply my knowledge and create any type of merch that people will actually want to keep for years to come.
MEMORABLE PROJECTS
Chimmelier: Korean Fried Chicken
Over the last few years I have worked closely with the Chimmelier team to help develop and expand their brand identity from a meager pop-up street food booth, into a recognizable, multi-location Korean fried chicken staple in Los Angeles and the Bay Area. The company has expanded into two spin-off restaurant concepts: Jilli, a Korean wine and tapas bar, as well as OhG Burger, a Korean inspired smash burger joint.
Over the course of the years we have created all manner of branded collateral, murals, and packaging that has helped establish them as a viable option for franchising from international investors, with the hope of expanding to Texas, Las Vegas, New York City, and South Korea.
While working with Chimmelier I learned to navigate working with international vendors, creating production ready artwork for a number of different types of packaging and signage, communicate and advise with contractors, and design an entire restaurant interior.
The Warp Gate: Titans of Tabletop
One of my first big clients after moving back to Columbus, OH was The Warp Gate, a trading card store specializing in Magic the Gathering and Warhammer. When I first heard that they were moving locations to a much more prime piece of real estate I reached out to them, pitching the idea that they could stand to have a brand refresh.
They had already established themselves as a key player in the local trading card and convention scene, but their branding did not reflect the caliber of their business. Part of why I approached them was because I wanted to help them cultivate being a welcoming and inclusive space in the city for table top gaming, as well as being a safe place for new players to come and learn new games, and to give people a place to come and share their love for their favorite games in person, as well as have an opportunity to meet people in real life.
Over the last few years we have elevated their brand identity, created placemaking with a large scale mural, built out a large collection of merchandise, and completely revamped their convention booth presence. When we first started they were primarily using two six-foot tables, and now they have a full scale island at conventions around the country.
Yoju: Canned Soju Cocktails
After working with Chimmelier for a year I got connected with Yoju, a canned soju cocktail brand in Southern California to create packaging for their Hard Vietnamese Coffee - The first of its kind. Since then we have worked on a number of packing projects, including their new Hard Strawberry Matcha Latte, classic bottled soju for Whole Foods, as well as spearheading an experiential pop-up activation where we created a “pocha-arcade” inspired by japanese arcades and Korean pochas.
